FAQ

  • I am already receiving eating disorder treatment. Will this course still help me?

That's great that you are already connected with treatment providers. We still encourage you sign up for the course, as there may be other support options that you haven't considered yet. You will also have access to lived experience reflections which may support your recovery process.

  • I am a carer or loved one of someone with an eating disorder. Is this course suitable for me?

Yes, absolutely! If you are a carer of someone under the age of 18, you will likely be making decisions about treatment options for your loved one, so it's important to understand the treatment options available. If you are a carer or loved one of an adult with an eating disorder, you still play an important role in supporting your loved one as they navigate their way through the treatment system.

  • What if I need help accessing the services mentioned in the course?

The team at EDV is here to support you. You will be introduced to different options for support throughout the course, but if you need further guidance, please reach out to the EDV Hub on 1300 550 236 or email [email protected].
